– US$23.8 billion underlying attributable full year profit which blew analysts forecast out of the water and resulted in a US$8.9 billion dividend or US$1.75 per share (full year US$3.25)
– 2nd largest annual dividend of any global public company (2nd to Microsoft).
– Leading the charge was the iron ore division which has grand plans to creep up production by 10% to 300mtpa and ultimately 330mtpa.
